Axial Orthopaedics
Axial Orthopaedics advances its intramedullary nail system, entering pre-development with a prototype, IP filed with The Mayo Clinic, and plans for licensing, testing, and FDA clearance before commercial launch.
The development of an evolutionary Intramedullary Fracture Fixation System
Axial Orthopaedics, in collaboration with The Mayo Clinic, is introducing a Multicomponent trauma nailing system to address the contemporary clinical demands of complex long bone trauma in the US market. This innovative system aims to enhance fracture fixation through intraoperative component selection, ultimately minimizing postoperative patient pain and reducing complications such as limb malalignment, compartment syndrome, and patellofemoral instability.
Bringing greater accuracy and efficiency to the treatment of long bone fracture fixation via novel implant modularity and rotational capabilities
A functioning prototype has been produced and IP has been filed in conjunction
The Axial Orthopaedics intramedullary nail system is in the pre-development phase. A functioning prototype has been produced and IP has been filed in conjunction with The Mayo Clinic. A licensing agreement will be formed in order for Axial Orthopaedics to commence a proof of concept, design freeze, testing, and FDA submission for clearance to market. Commercialization will then commence via an Alpha surgeon clinical evaluation prior to full commercial launch.
